Frequently asked questions

How long does my hair need to be?

Regardless of how you've been removing your hair, you should have at least 4 weeks growth from your last wax and 2 weeks growth from your last shave to get the best results. If you book in before this time, you will not get the best out of your treatment and it will be a waste of your money. We want you to be happy so bite the bullet and let it grow. 1cm - 2cm is perfect!

What do I wear during my Intimate Waxing treatment?

You will be naked from the waist down during your treatment, we don't waste (your) time with paper knickers, towels etc. Trust us when we say we have seen it all before, there is nothing to be nervous about, get your kit off and prepare for the best wax you've had!

Is it painful?

No type of waxing is "pain free" don't let anyone tell you otherwise. However waxing done correctly will be as quick and painless as it can be. You can help yourself before hand by trimming long hair before your appointment. If you are a terminal shaver you have made your hair stronger and tougher (FACT!) this means it is harder to remove and thus can be more painful. However once you've had one or two waxes you'll be fine! Waxing is the way forward!

How long will the results last?

Everyone's different. In most cases, you will see minimal regrowth during the first 3 weeks, with a noticeable increase after that. If you usually shave, it can take two to three waxes to get rid of early, stubbly growth but after than you'll be as smooth as a baby's bum for much longer. Continued waxing encourages slower, sparser regrowth, so keep it up!

How often should I be waxed?

If you're serious about maintaining that clean and sexy feeling, I recommend that you come in every 4 to 5 weeks. You may then find that you will be able to leave longer gaps between your appointments as you carry on with waxing. DO NOT SHAVE IN BETWEEN WAXES!

What should I wear afterwards?

Clean, not-too-tight cotton knickers are the best thing to put back on after your wax. Avoid silk, nylon, polyester knickers or tights.

Aftercare

Avoid getting into a hot shower or bath for at least 12 hours afterwards. Avoid deodorants or highly perfumed products on the waxed area. Avoid going swimming or in chlorinated water for 12 hours.
