FAQ

What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliating technique using a specialist blade which glides across the skin. The two main benefits are removal of dull, dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz).

Is the treatment safe?
This treatment is extremely safe when performed by a trained professional. There is also very minimal downtime associated with this procedure, we recommend leaving the skin free of makeup for 12 hours.

Does it hurt?
Dermaplaning is entirely painless, however due to the nature of the treatment, clients may experience slight erythema.

Will it make the hair on my face grow back thicker and darker?
No. The soft and fine vellus hair found on the face will grow back unchanged. We recommend waxing areas of terminal hair, such as the lip.
